The NSBA is a group of attorneys, judges, and other legal professionals who are dedicated to supporting the legal community and improving the quality of legal services throughout Chicago and its northern suburbs. It has a history that stretches back more than half a century.

The fundamental mission of the NSBA Foundation is to identify individuals who have financial issues that are preventing them from entering the legal profession and then offering these individuals monetary scholarships to cover specific educational expenses. NSBA Foundation scholarships can cover testing fees and other costs associated with LSAT preparation, as well as law school application and enrollment fees.
